Last day of school! Today passed by so fast! Haha. We had this 'St Margaret's Idol' in the morning in the hall. LOL. Honestly, it was pretty lame. The 'contestants' mainly made up of the sec 1s and there were absolutely no sec 2s. Almost all sang except for two I think. I think one of the best one was Joanna. She sang 'Walking on Sunshine'. You know, the M1 song.
After that we went back to our classrooms. The sec 2s had to do the 'Make it SPOT-less' thing. Basically, cleaning up our classrooms. No idea what the SPOT in the SPOT-less means, nor why they made it capital letters. They ceiling fans in my class were filthy. The blades were literally covered with dust and things. Yuck. And we all had to clean every bit of the classrooms up. Even the top of the OHP screen, which no one would obviously see or check, but they made us clean it up anyway. Oh, and quite a number of us forgot to bring rags and there was ALOT of cleaning to be done. So, Dalvinjit, Divya and I decided to go to the 4th floor to see if there were rags in the toilets cause I remembered that there were some rags there during camp. Then when we went there we saw some rags, but they looked pretty disgusting so we decided to wash them. Then we were gonna leave when they toilet aunties appeared from the back. Divya and I ran laughing away, and we thought Dalvinjit was behind us, but apparently not. Then when she finally appeared, she said that the auntie/aunties kinda scoledd her in chinese but she had no idea what they were saying. Hahahaha. Can you imagine? Hilarious. No worries, we did return the rags after that. But they were pretty grey. Hah.
At like about 11.30, we had this MOTHER TONGUE HOUR. !!! Save my soul. I was expecting worse, but it actually turned out kinda better than expected. At least they switched on the air-con :] Yay them. The Chinese students went to the hall, the Tamil students went to the theatrette and the Malays went to the Performing Arts Studio. In the hall, they had 3 newspaper reporters from the chinese newspaper, Lian He Zao Bao/Xing Qi Wu Zhou Bao/Lian He Wan Bao, to come to speak to us about journalism. I was thinking, yawn much. But it was actually not that bad. The guy was pretty funny, in a lame joking sort of way. Though I couldn't understand him at some point... Anyway, he's like super tall. Pretty funny. He actions are a little... what's the word... erm funny. Haha. They showed us pictures they took, some not even published in the papers. Some where SOOO gross!! Like this guy went down to the MRT track to get his shoe... And I don't think you wanna know.
They spoke for about like 40mins and guess who came? Two campus superstars: Renfred and Theresa (hope I spelt her name right). People were like screaming oh so loud! They are just people you know. So they screamed. And screamed. And screamed. Then one of the reporters asked them some questions about you know, stuff. Then they sang a song each. Renfred's SO shy. Even when he sang. Theresa is like so sweet. She kept saying thank you whenever people screamed. Haha. Cute cute. The school gave them a bouquet of flowers (???) and a thing (I heard it was a teddy bear?). And Mother Tongue hour was over.
Ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmygosh. Tomorrow's the Meet-The-Parents thing! I can't remember my time slot!! Faint. My mom's sure it's somewhere in the late morning. Crap. I think we'll just go early and wait. Haha. Dammit. I just remembered. You know smth? I didn't bring my IH file today and my IH teacher, whom I think, was in a bad mood, made everyone who did not bring, to copy TWO CHAPTERS FROM OUR HISTORY TEXTBOOK!! BY MONDAY! And the best part, I did not even hear the damn announcement that we had to bring the thing. IF you people are in sec 1 or 2, flip your oh so thick History textbook to chapter 4 and 5. Two of the longest chapters ever. What fun I shall have copying the whole lot. Actually, a few of us are not gonna do the thing, cause it's just way unreasonable. But who knows? Maybe she'll get even more mad and make us copy more chapters. Oh well. Risks.

I need sleep!! Camp ended today. It was pretty fun :] On the first day, ee reached school and put our barang barang in the class. Carissa's bag was HUGE. Hahaha. So funny. We then went to the parade ground, which we found out that our ear-rings have to be
0.3cm in
diameter. And they don't allow those little hoops no more. Boo. I can't wear my hoops. The prefects actually went down the rows, or rather columns and placed a
ruler beside some of those people with 'suspicious' looking earrings! LMAO. 0.3cm is like so small. Sheesh. Now I have to wear these ball bearing sort of earring, which is SO common. Puke.
ANYWAY. Then we had some sort of breakfast break (hahaha) and we had to change to our house shirts and sandals. Then we met at chapel for our briefing on DRAGON BOATING!! We reached the Kallang River at about 10.30 and it was MEGA fun!! There are two size of boats: big one, which can take 22 people, and the small one, which can take 12 people. I took the big one :D It was pretty exciting (sounds like the wrong word to use. heh) to board the boat (which TOTALLY LOOKS LIKE A SAMPAN! hahaha), cause we had to go down these metal steps, then onto this floating dock which is really bumpy then onto the boat. Wait, I know all of you are like thinking that dragon boating = a boat with a dragon's head in the front with a loud drum in the front of the boat, but seriously, it looks like those fishermen's boat/sampan! Haha.
We were all given paddles and life jackets and we were off. There was a trainer at the back of the boat. He's pretty tease-y. Cause at the starting, all of us were like screaming and stuff, cause the boat kept rocking, cause of the uneven weight on both sides. Then he purposely rocked the whole thing (he was standing at the back of the boat) with his legs (duh), which made everyone sort of panic and screamed even louder (I swear my eardrums nearly burst) and the boat rocked even harder. Haha. Come to think of it now, it's actually pretty funny, really.
Then we learnt the different paddle movements thing and we slowly set off. Then the fun part started. Heh heh. We started to attack other boats! We paddled 'innocently' near another boat (actually we were pretty noisey cause everyone was so excited and we talking to loudly, that it wasn't much of a surprise), and we used this little pail thing, scooped it with water and poured it on some of them on the other boat. We also used our paddles and wet them. SO FUN. Then we quicked paddled away, but we were already kinda wet. Haha. Then, Gladys (sitting just behind me) took the pail thing, filled it with seawater and poured the whole thing on me! Haha. My eye kidna hurt that time, cause the water was really salty and stingy, but I now find it totally fun :] Haha. Then we attacked other boats and then, we saw the teachers' boat!! Haha. Our boat and another boat allianced and we attacked the teachers', but failed rather horribly. LOL. Mr Lim was SOO strong that he kept flapping his paddles at us and so much water was splashing at us we could barely see! Haha. So we quickly paddled away, this time, thoroughly soaked to the skin. A while later, we sat on the edge of the boat:
(We are sitting on the edge of the boat. Not floating in the air. And, the double lines in the middle are the seatse for us to sit in) The trainer would rock the boat and it's just SO fun!! I SO LOVE DRAGON BOATING. We 'boated' for about two hours I think, then we stopped. Booo. Wait, before the paddled back to the dock, we had this boat race! The big boats against the big boats and the small boats against the small boats! Three boats went at a time! Our boat won!! Woohoo! Then, we paddled back to dock and we returned the life jackets and paddles. We so did not want to leave the boats ): We lef the place and boarded the bus. We totally made the bus really wet, cause we were all soaking wet. Kinda disgusting at first, but soon the water evaporates. My hand got all dry and icky, cause of the salty seawater which really dries my skin up.
We then went back to school, cleaned up and had lunch. The coaches (I think they are volunteers from SAJC and ACJC :D) were really sweet, they served us lunch :] Haha. After that we had this Mass Dance session with Coach Luke (not volunteer from ACJC/SAJC. as in adult-y) in the hall. We got our camp shirts! ORANGE! Haha. We changed into them and when we came back, they switched on the air-con! For about like half an hour only. Haha. Anyway, better than nothing. Then we learnt this dance which was really fast but totally
fun! We did the Macarena too!! I had 24698456166394892 tonnes of fun!! We were in the hall doing all this for like about THREE HOURS :] I can't believe it either. Cause it
was pretty fun and everyone was enjoying themselves :D (i think).
We had dinner after that, and then we had our CAMPFIRE! There was actually meant to be a real fire, but the only place where we could have an actual fire was in the field, and there wasn't a proper sound system and more importantly, there were obviously gonna be
insects, which is really disgusting and icky. So instead, we had this 'fake' campfire in the middle of the hall! Haha. They switched on the air-con too!! I mean, there was actually really fire as in they used lots of big candle things (they weren't actually candles, I dunno what you call em), and they switched on the air con! It was mega cool. We sang songs, played lots and lots of really fun games and had another round of dancing... with the teachers! HAHAHA. They are SUPER cute!! We danced the Chicken Dance :D Even the teachers!!! Ahahahahaha. Everyone was super high and it was all so fun!
Then, we had to bathe at about 10 plus, which was kind of horror. Cause we had to use buckets and pails to bathe. Haha. Not going into detail on this one :B Okay, this is one long entry. To cut short, we woke up the next morning, when for morning assembly, ate breakfast, had this talk in the chapel (we were SUPER tired) with Coach Jay (whom is sooo cool), had this Treasure Hunt thing and then we left for home.
That is all :]

Is it just me or is the weather way hot? During the E-Learning talk thing in the hall today, I was feeling so hot and sleepy. Yuck. I nearly fell asleep when Mrs. T walked and sat at one of the chairs nearby and was kinda looking at me. I guess I
was kinda fidgety and restless. Anyway, for our IH (Integrated Humanities), everyone is gonna get an extra 5 marks! :D Cause lots and lots of people complained that there wasn't enough time for Paper 1 and apparently quite a few people did not complete the paper. Haha.
After going through the Literature and IH papers in Chapel, we went back to class. 2 free periods! Yayness :D Sandra, Dalvin, Nivedha, Gaya, Euphoria, Jean and I were playing spin the bottle (dare, double dare). Haha. Yes, it's pretty a primary school game but it's still fun. We actually started off with Charades but then we could not understand a thing Gaya was acting out so we decided to play spin the bottle. We made Euphoria do a pole dance with a broomstick. LOL. Funny! Oh, oh! WE made Gaya do 10 push-ups and say "I love you floor", each time she goes down. Hahahaha. It was so funny. Cause she was doing like near the corridor We were actually kinda mean cause Gaya totally hates push-ups xD Heh.
Jane is gonna lend me the Les Miserables vcd/dvd!! Yay her! This musical is totally amazing. I SO love it. Thanks Jane :)

Just came back. Went to Gladys's house in the morning. Met Gracie, Gaya and Mel at the train station. Gladys's house is like SO nice :D Her room is like so big and stuff and her bathroom door looks like those closet doors so you wouldn't even know that it's a bathroom. We did the stupid poster thing and we left for plaza sing :] Gaya went off to see her Aan and the four of us took the train to Dhoby Gaut. We ate lunch and we took neoprints. And we met SANDRA AND SASHA!! And two other people whom I do not know!! They just watched MI3. Haha. Oh yea, in the end, we didn't watch a movie. Couldn't really make up our minds really. Heh.
Then, we bought this
super cute miniature GUMBALL MACHINE for Alicia!! It's her birthday tmr :) I SO TOTALLY
LOVE THE GUMBALL MACHINE!! We bought like 3 or 4 boxes of Gobstoppers and we filled up the gumball machine. CUTENESS!! The whole thing is like mega colourful!! Should have taken a photo of it. Then we left plaza sing and we went to Bugis. We walked around and around and we saw this neoprint place. It was super packed. So after MUCH thought, we decided not to take anymore. We went to this place called Edge or something. It's supposedly a 'teen place' but it's okay I guess. They had these fake steps which kinda like vibrates when you step on them, which is super creepy in a weird and awful sort of way. Haha.
We stopped at Mos Burger to get a drink and then Gracie suggested Starbucks so we left. When we reached Starbucks, the place was packed and I think the air con was spoilt or something. Gracie got a hot chocolate and we went back to Mos Burger. You know something? Melanie has only drank at Starbucks like ONCE in her entire life and Gladys has NEVER drank at Starbucks before. !!! !!! !!! Faints. Their frappuccinos are like the best. Yummy.
We walked to Bugis Street and we went to this shop on the second floor which sells this really cute hand-made handicrafts thing. CUTE. We decided to get a little something for Hazirah :) Cause her birthday's in June. Heh. We were pretty much tired so we left for home. On the train, Mel was like so funny. She was like wanting to be considerate and stuff, so she wanted to give up her seat to something who is old or pregnant. She was like looking around the train cabin but no one appeared old or pregnant. Haha. Then finally at Tiong Bahru this old man boarded, but he seemed pretty strong and not-tired so she did not give up her seat to him. Then she started feeling kinda guilty cause he was like standing infront of us. Mel's so sweet. Haha

Mid years are finally over! (: My Home Economics paper ended super early. 9AM!! And there's like no school tomorrow and on Wednesday cause of Marking Day and the Polling Day holiday :D
I'm going to Gladys's house tomorrow (: Along with Gracie, Melanie and Gaya. We are supposed to do some poster project thing on Racial Harmony I think. Thanks to my most reasonable English teacher. I mean our exams have just ended for crying out loud. Sheesh. Anyway. After the project we're gonna catch a show after the project :D YAY!! I haven't watched a movie in AGES (do rentals count?). Melanie said she wanted to watch
When A Stranger Calls. I think it's some sort of murder thriller sort of show. Which I totally would NOT wanna watch. I'd rather
Poseidon or
MI3 (: Heh. Recommendations anyone? There's this new show called
Over the Hedge, and the animation is
SO cute! From what I see on the advertisement, that is. The fuzzy little turtle (or tortoise) is so cute!! Haha. But it's probably one of those type of flicks which come out in vcd and dvd in like around 2 months.
School camp! There's gonna be a school camp for the sec 2s on the 22nd-24th. It's a 3 days and 1 night thing. We're gonna be sleeping in the school hall! With AIR CON! The air con is like mega cold! Yay (: But the thing I really don't like about this camp is that there's a DRAGON BOAT event. Which I heard from my cousin, whose school brought them to do also in secondary 2, is super dirty. As in there's mud on the base of the boat and stuff. Yuck. Being as small size as my cousin is, her feet got stuck in the mud and the instructor had to literally pull her out of the boat. Hahaha xD. The frigging dragon boats are like SO heavy and big and stuff, I bet that we're goona get sweaty, muddy and dirty. Ew. Plus, there's this like tree-top walk thing. I have no idea what it is. But I think it has something to do with the forest. Which I may add, is FULL of insects which mankind has probably never seen, mud and fallen leaves EVERYWHERE, and more insects!! Yuck yuck yuck. Anyway, I hope it'll be fun though. After all, we are gonna get
CAMP SHIRTS (:

CLASS TEE! (: This entry should be dated about like 1 - 2 weeks ago I think. Anyway. Gracie and I went back to Hua Yi on a Thursday to collect our class tees :D It was like super hot when we got there. Yuck. We went to the staff room to meet Miss Wong and she gave us our class tee! Which is BIG. And my size is an 'S'. I think it should be 'XL' or something. It looks like a dress on me for crying out loud. It a polo neck one so it's kinda hot plus the material is kinda polyester-y I think. But the design's pretty cute. I like the green :D
The design at the back. Don't you think something's a little funny about 'the coolest among others'? xD Heh heh.
The little design at the front (:
MY NAME :B
I didn't take a full shot of the shirt cause it just didn't look nice. At all. Anyways, I saw a few of them (: I met Miss Wong (duh), Si Hui, Kelly, Sui Chen, Si Hao, Fadhil, Wilson, and the three new transferred students - Patrick, Shiya and Jasmine. They were pretty shy. And, from far, Shiya looked like Jasmine, I mean the long hair and glasses and stuff. Some of them have changed though. Si Hao is still lame, Fadhil's still cheeky and Si hui is still as enthusiastic as ever. Lol.
